I have some items I would like to donate, where can I drop them off?

We will arrange to pick the items up at your residence!  There are several reasons we don't want people to drop items off at our facilities.   We can't always use the items that are offered to us - in some cases the furniture is too large to fit through the doorways of the homes we are helping.  In other cases furniture can be too heavy for our volunteers to be able to deliver.  It's best to call us and let us send people out to see what can be used.

How does OHAAT have such a low administrative expense ratio?

We are able to use approximately 92% of all donations because of our volunteer staff.  Almost everyone involved in OHAAT is volunteering their time.

Can I make a donation for a specific purpose?

You can designate your donation for a particular program we have active, such as a matching-gift challenge.  We have also created the ability to donate as a gift or to donate in honor or in memory of someone.  Please contact us with other ideas you have.

Who gives OHAAT money?

OHAAT receives money from Individuals, Religious Organizations, Churches and Grants from foundations.
