What’s a bed without sheets, or bedtime without a book? Help OHAAT collect bedding and bedtime essentials for its Beds for Kids program! These items help disadvantaged children get the sleep they need to thrive.
New and gently-used twin-size sheets
New and gently-used king-size pillowcases
New and gently-used blankets and comforters
New and gently-used books for children age 13 to 20
New and gently-used books for children age 2 to 12
OHAAT accepts only quality items that children would be proud to own. They cannot be stained, ripped, or in need of repair. They also cannot be offensive, religious, or contains the words “Mom,” “Mommy,” “Dad,” etc. OHAAT does not accept furniture, housewares, or clothing. Consider taking donations of items we do not accept to an Impact Thrift Store, Cradles to Crayons, or Holy Redeemer Thrift Store.
If you have items to donate and would like to schedule a pick-up or drop-off, please contact Megan at 215-346-6427 or firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also drop donations off at Gloria Dei Church, Jarrettown United Methodist Church, and Upper Dublin Lutheran Church. Just make sure to call beforehand to ensure that the church office will be open.
