Dream Big During Sleep Awareness Month
Sleep Awareness Month is celebrated in March — a celebration of sleep! It’s a time to emphasize the crucial connection between sleep and overall health and well-being, and to encourage everyone to prioritize sleep.
Dream Big is how OHAAT celebrates Sleep Awareness Month. We invite individuals, organizations, schools, businesses, and congregations to partner with OHAAT by providing everything needed to turn a mattress into a sleep sanctuary.
The Beds for Kids program’s success depends on generous in-kind donations throughout the year. Sheets, blankets, pillows, and toothbrushes fill the bedtime bags delivered to children and youth in the program, and turn their new beds into more than a mattress. And while donations are needed (and welcome!) any time of the year, during Sleep Awareness Month in March we invite individuals, schools, community groups, businesses, and congregations to host donation drives to collect the items provided in bedtime bags.
These are all the different ways you can get involved to help children in need Dream Big:
Host a Collection Drive (Download Flyer Here) at your school, business, congregation, sporting group, or community organization. This is a wonderful project for Key Clubs and Boy & Girl Scout troops!
Drop off a donation at our warehouse from March 1st-March 31st, or at a Univest or Gerhard’s location near you!
Order a bedtime item from one of our wishlists: Target, Amazon, Walmart, and IKEA Conshohocken
Join us at our annual P.J. Whelihan’s Dine & Donate on March 12th!
Spread the Word! (Share this flyer with your social media network)
Be a Digital Advocate: Like, follow and share OHAAT posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and Bluesky to stay up-to-date on Dream Big news. You can also sign up for our newsletter. Check out our media toolkit for ready-to-share posts!
