Helping More Phoenixville-Area Kids Sleep Well, Thanks to PCHF
Healthy Sleep Starts with a Bed: OHAAT Receives Phoenixville Community Health Foundation Grant
We're proud to announce that One House at a Time (OHAAT) has been named a 2026 annual grantee of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation (PCHF)!
This year, PCHF awarded more than $1.6 million to 43 health and human services organizations serving residents of the greater Phoenixville area. These organizations work across healthcare, housing, food security, emergency assistance, and violence prevention. We're honored to join them in supporting the health and well-being of Phoenixville families.
Why a bed is a health issue
Sleep is one of the foundations of a child's health. It's when growing bodies recover, young minds process what they learned, and kids build the energy and focus they need for school and play. But for many children, restful sleep isn't possible without a bed of their own. Some share a mattress with siblings; others sleep on couches or floors.
Through the Beds for Kids program, OHAAT delivers complete bed packages to children ages 2 to 20 from low-income households, including a new bed and bedding. PCHF's support will help us bring these bed packages to more children in the greater Phoenixville area, giving them a safe, comfortable place to rest.
Thank you, Phoenixville Community Health Foundation
We're grateful for PCHF's partnership, their commitment to trust-based philanthropy, and their dedication to strengthening the nonprofits that serve the Phoenixville community. Congratulations to all 42 fellow grantees. We're proud to stand alongside you!
