This lively community event promises a day of entertainment, featuring delicious food, a variety of vendors, and captivating performances for attendees of all ages.
Food trucks, holiday shopping, kids amusements, live music & entertainment, games and lots of community fun!
If it rains, event will be moved inside Wissahickon High School.
The Jenkintown Festival of the Arts will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, rain or shine.
Where: Jenkintown Town Square. The following blocks will be closed to traffic; West Ave, Leedom St, Summit Ave & Greenwood Ave. There is plenty of public parking throughout the borough.
Presented by: Jenkintown Community Alliance, a 301c Non-Profit organization. All proceeds benefit and support the work the JCA does in the borough of Jenkintown.

Join OHAAT at Humpty’s Dumplings in Glenside on August 28th, and satisfy your tastebuds while supporting the Beds for Kids program. A percentage of sales from the whole day will be donated to OHAAT (does not include orders through DoorDash/GrubHub - please use this link to order delivery AND support the Beds for Kids program: https://humptyskeswick.toast.site/order).
This dine & donate runs from 11am-9pm. Humpty’s is located at 277 N. Keswick Avenue in Glenside, PA.
We're hosting a back to school event at the Northeast Family Y! Join us to get ready for an amazing year ahead! We will welcome community partners like Cradles to Crayons, One House at a Time, Reading Captains, and more!
We will have free backpacks and school supplies, music, field games, crafts, and other resources for children and students in our community. Giveaways are available while supplies last.
This event is FREE and open to the community. Registration is not required.

This dynamic event is being hosted in collaboration with NET Community Care CUA-1 & CUA-7, the Frazier Foundation, and the Nu Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. – all committed to one mission: preparing our families and youth’s mind, body, and soul for a successful school year. OHAAT is excited to host a table at this event!
As part of the CUA mission, this event is focused on serving the communities within the 22nd and 25th Police Districts by providing real-time access to health, wellness, and educational resources.

For the fifteenth year, we will celebrate summer with a carnival and backpack giveaway on Friday, August 8 from 11 am – 3 pm. The event will be held at the Parking Lot of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. There will be great food, fun games, free community resources for families, and free backpacks full of school supplies, while supplies last. Children must be present to receive backpacks. Since the carnival’s inception, the event has entertained nearly 15,000 children and their families and provided school supplies to thousands of children. The free event is hosted by St. Christopher’s Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs and Drexel University’s College of Medicine.
This year’s event features a dynamic collaboration between Councilman Curtis Jones Jr., the University of Pennsylvania, and DBHIDS’ “Community That Cares” initiative, and will include an outdoor edition of Parent University 2.0. Together, we’re committed to bringing vital resources, services, and connections to a neighborhood eager for support.

Family Practice & Counseling Network is hosting this special event in recognition of National Health Center Week. It’s designed to bring together families, students, and community organizations to promote health, wellness, and educational success.
The mission of the event is to support students and families by providing free school supplies, community resources, and health-related information and services—all in one accessible, family-friendly event. Our goal is to equip over 200 children with the tools they need to start the school year strong, while also connecting families to important community supports that promote overall well-being.
OHAAT will be one of the many local organizations sharing resources at State Representative Andre Carroll’s Back 2 School Resource Fair. This event will also have free backpacks and school supplies. Join us for a day of family fun!
Beat the summer heat and support children in need at the same time! Come to Rita's of Huntingdon Valley on July 16th from 4pm-9pm and mention OHAAT when you order. Enjoy your water ice or custard (or both--who doesn't love a gelato?) while helping the Beds for Kids program. Rita's is located at 2024 County Line Road in Huntingdon Valley.

Delco Gives Kick-off Celebration at Dining Under the Stars in Media
The launch of Delco Gives will be at the corner of Olive and State Streets! Cecily Tynan from 6ABC Philadelphia will serve as emcee for the evening, and there will be musical and dance performances from the Meadia Theater, Next Gen Theater, and Summer Stage's Shooting Stars.
