Design a Card for Kids |
|
This holiday season, we wish to add a special note to each bedtime bag that goes home to a child. We want our BFK families to know that we are always thinking of them, especially now. We invite you or your children to design a winter holiday card design and email it to us by Friday, November 6. One lucky winner will have their design printed on the cards and will receive a Beds for Kids t-shirt!
Not an artist? We need your help preparing these cards for kids! If you have time to pick up a stack of cards and write a special note, please contact our Operations & Volunteer Coordinator, at sara@ohaat.org. Thank you for your time!

Testimonials |
|
We reached out to recent Beds for Kids families to ask about their experience with OHAAT and see how we can better serve families in need. Here are some kind words that were shared:

This summer, OHAAT received such thoughtful monetary and in-kind support from our volunteers, friends, and community partners. Thank you to those who joined us for dining out events, or who found creative ways to volunteer from home
Support to sustain our program is now more important than ever, as we respond to families who are coping with extremely challenging circumstances during the pandemic crisis. Your donations will provide bed frames, mattresses, blankets, sheets and pillows to families who are desperately in need. We are also now offering a hygiene pack to each child with their very own handmade mask, hand sanitizer, and an educational piece on staying safe and healthy during the Covid-19 outbreak..

Donation Drive |

This September, Willow Grove Baptist Church held a donation drive of books, stuffed animals, and other supplies from church and community members. Their large drive was so successful that it nearly filled our truck! Thank you, again, for thinking of OHAAT at this time.

Books & Stuff |
|
We recently learned of a local book store, Books & Stuff, that has a focus on books with diverse characters and topics. Lynn Washington, once graphic designer for the Free Library of Philadelphia, started Books & Stuff with a passion for promoting literacy in the community.

|
|
Like OHAAT that strives to improve children’s lives through a good night’s sleep, Lynn helps individuals thrive by giving them easy access to reading materials –no matter the race or economic background. We have partnered with Books & Stuff to offer our supporters the opportunity to purchase books online and have them shipped directly to OHAAT to include more diverse books in our bedtime bags!
Step 2: Add desired books and quantities to your cart.
Step 3: Enter OHAAT’s office address to “Shipping Details”. Make sure your name is entered into Shipping Details so we know who to thank for the gift! In the payment section, uncheck “Billing Address Same as Shipping Address” to add your own billing address.
OHAAT Office: 421 Pike Road, Unit 5, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006
Step 4: Add payment information, review order, and check out.
Step 5: We’ll pack your gift into bedtime bags and send you a receipt for your records!
