Record Delivery Numbers This Fall🍂

Things have been extremely busy at the OHAAT warehouse! Last year, OHAAT delivered 2,107 beds - the most beds in one year in program history. With two months still left in 2024, we have flown past our previous record, and have delivered 2257 beds!

The Beds for Kids program was also honored to be featured in an in-depth feature on FOX 29 Live with Bill Anderson. We are extremely grateful to FOX 29 and Bill for raising awareness about OHAAT.

WHAT'S NEW AT OHAAT?

OHAAT Open House

On Saturday, September 28th, OHAAT welcomed donors, volunteers, referral partners and families to visit the warehouse. There were games, raffles, food, face painting, and kids activities. We hope everyone enjoyed the opportunity to tour the new space!

OHAAT has been running the Sleep Well Campaign throughout the month of September and October. During this time, we have raised awareness of the Beds for Kids program and shared sleep health information. We hope the sleep hygiene tips help everyone Sleep Well! Thank you once again to TruMark Financial Credit Union, IKEA Conshohocken, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Comcast for sponsoring this campaign.

Delivery Volunteers Needed!

The Beds for Kids program is searching for volunteers to help with bed deliveries:

Weekday morning availability needed
Lift up to 25 pounds
Comfortable climbing stairs while carrying mattresses and frames
Comfortable climbing in & out of the delivery truck

OHAAT has been out and about at a slew of community events! From story time with author Gerald L. Jackson at Olney Library to accepting the Community Leadership Award from Philadelphia Legaices to a variety of health and wellness fairs, we've been busy sharing information about and promoting the Beds for Kids program.

Our sincere thanks to Germantown Academy High School Boy's JV & Varsity soccer team and Upper Dublin Lutheran Church for supporting the Beds for Kids program.

These wonderful volunteers donated their time to local children in need. Volunteers prepared personalized bedtime bags, made blankets, and delivered beds directly to the homes of are families.
