Staff Spotlight - April Taylor

It’s hard to believe it’s already been four months since April joined the team as OHAAT’s Volunteer and Operations Coordinator! To celebrate her first few months with the Beds for Kids program, we did a quick Q&A to learn more about April’s interests and favorite parts of the job.

What do you like to do when you're not working?

My passions are mountain biking, hiking, anything adventure-related, and quality time with my daughter.

What do you enjoy most in your role as Operations & Volunteer Coordinator? Knowing we are making an impact and a difference in kids' wellbeing and interacting with volunteers.

What's your favorite experience so far at OHAAT?

Going out on bed deliveries and having interaction with the kids, and seeing their smiles and excitement when we delivered beds and bags. 

What was your favorite book to read to your daughter at bedtime?

Anything Dr. Seuss...she loved the entire series.
