Our Biggest Year Yet: OHAAT’s 2025 Impact Report

What does it look like when a community comes together to end child bedlessness? It looks like 3,523 children with their own beds. It looks like 268 delivery runs, 601 volunteers, and families in 113 zip codes across Greater Philadelphia who finally got a good night’s sleep.

We are proud to share our 2025 Impact Report — our biggest year since One House at a Time was founded in 1998.

A Record-Breaking Year

In 2025, OHAAT served more children and families than ever before. Here are the highlights:

•       3,523 individuals served

•       1,626 families impacted

•       113 zip codes reached across 5 counties

•       268 delivery runs completed

•       10,569 books bundled alongside beds

Our reach spans Philadelphia (78% of families served), Montgomery County (10%), Bucks County (7%), Delaware County (3%), and Chester County (2%).

Who We Serve

The children we serve are ages 2–20 and living at or below the poverty threshold in Greater Philadelphia. Nearly half (49.2%) are children between the ages of 5 and 11 — a stage of development when quality sleep directly shapes academic performance, emotional regulation, and physical health. Another 20.6% of children served are aged 4 and younger.

Families we serve speak English (86%), Spanish (11%), and a range of other languages (3%), reflecting the diversity of our region.

The Power of Partnership

None of this work happens alone. In 2025, 411 referral partners — social workers, school counselors, housing navigators, and community advocates — trusted us with their most vulnerable families. 113 business and community groups volunteered their time. And 601 unduplicated volunteers gave 3,502 hours to pack beds, deliver beds, and wash laundry.

Turning Gifts Into Impact

In 2025, OHAAT brought in $1,168,563 in income and spent $1,023,660. Of every dollar spent, 91 cents went directly to programming. Our revenue comes from program fees (53%), grants (25%), individuals (13%), corporate supporters (8%), and in-kind contributions (1%).Looking Ahead

Looking Ahead

As we move past the first half of 2026, our goal is to serve even more children — and we need your help to get there. Whether you donate, volunteer, refer a family, or simply share our mission with someone who cares, you are part of this work.
